[Bug Report] Rogue buff "Charges" ,from sab, conflicts with Yule cosmetic transforms
The Fae Yule cosmetic transforms - Candy Cane, Candy Apple, Yulelogon's Sap, Mistletoe Berries seems to break when the rogue is using a spec that has saboteur in it. the culprit seems to be the buff "charges" i tried the polymorphs with every spec that i have and only the ones with sabo as main or sub-soul seem to be having this issue (so the eternal weapon isnt the issue here, unlike clerics). the transform buff is cancelled immediately

How best to Chon in IRotP?
I'm giving up my DPS role of 7-800K to chon for the team, and do maybe 300K (team does about 3.5-3.7m DPS total). OK, so you can see I'm already upset, but I understand the necessity of it. Now, how do I do it best? First boss, Eareandorn: Raid wide buffs, Point-to-point, Flaring Power/Lava Field for the big volcano --- very little dps since I get the "don't do anything debuff" pretty much constantly. Second boss, Beruhast: I can switch to DPS, any work for the Chon?. Third boss, Silgen: buffs, lava/flaring at a point where I know we won't be wiping too quickly, then spam purification and if time, do some dps. Last boss, Priest (haven't gotten this far as chon), no idea about cleanse or purge required: so time to decide whether lava/flaring power buff offset the loss of the 500-600K DPS (800+ minus 300+/-).

Cracking Skulls Minions
Since the Cracking Skulls event is nearly never completed anymore, the minions that drop from it are now essentially unobtainable, as they were very rare drops to begin with. This affects the following minions:
It would be nice if there was an alternate method to acquire them. I would suggest the ability purchase with Fortress Tokens since those are from Queen's Foci and thus still the same content, even if they were a large quantity like 100 tokens each (since you only get 6/week without using charge). It would be nice to have them as obtainable via any method though, as some of us need all the minions :bulb:
(semi-related "bug" report -- none of those minions, at 5 of them that I've collected, have any flavor text, it's just blank
and if anyone happens to be selling Hexathel, Thexahel, Airoldus, or Razorleaf Matriarch on NA, I'd pay extremely well!)

Is Inq worth it?
I prefer to play shaman, but I've heard that Inquisitor gets higher DPS? Is this true? And if so where would I even start, it looks like it has a very complicated rotation that wouldn't do well with target swap.

RIFTstream Jan. 12 Recap Spicy Noodle Challenge
On Friday, January 12, 2018, Yaviey hosted the weekly RIFTstream with special guests Archonix, RoughRaptors, and Habidakus to take on the Spicy Noodle Challenge!
Linda “Brasse” Carlson (Director of Community Relations at Trion Worlds and RIFT’s Community Manager) was gone at PAX South, so she left Yaviey in charge of the show. Jennifer “Yaviey” Bridges (Trion Worlds Social Media Manager and form RIFT Community Manager) was joined by Chris “Archonix” Junior (Game Director, RIFT), Ryan “RoughRaptors” Copeland (Software Engineer, RIFT), and super special guest Jason “Habidakus” Abbot (Senior Engineer on Trove and formerly RIFT).
For this truly unique livestream, RoughRaptors and Habidakus agreed to do the Spicy Noodle Challenge and eat some of the world’s spiciest noodles live on the stream! Later, RoughRaptors hopped onto Gelidra (EU shard) to pwn n00bs as his RoughRaptors dev character in exchange for a shiny new Eternal item. They then finished off the stream by visiting the Wintercharm's Garden dimension by Kiwiflava (a memorial to Dimensioneer Wintercharm) and gave away some sweet prizes. Vostigar Peaks
To the developer who decided putting this many mobs in the way of the Main story quest line.
Were you Trying to annoy me or just do it naturally?
I'm new to Rift, been playing for about 5 weeks now, and I'm finding the trash mob density in Vostigar Peaks to be quite horrendous.
Oh, and the pic is where the quest leads me to kill Zqayguar, and you have to clear out the mobs to kill him as they kill him so you don't get credit for the kill.

My Warrior Leveling Build 4.3
Posting this just looking for some feedback and to hopefully help any new comers.
I myself just come back after years away (thanks USMC // Real-Life // Stuff) and this game is still a blast. I hear everyone is just powerleveling like crazy with IA (instant adventures) but myself I quested and que'd for random dungeons (abeit more questing due to que time for dungeons)
This was my leveling build which has been very very fun.
This leveling isn't perfect by no means due to differing levels obtaining more ability points as well as starting points but just use it to guide you to the awesomeness.
Paladin // Champion // Warlord
1 - 11 Pure Warlord (making a bee-line for Combat Veteran)
Thought process here was I like duel-wielding weapons and / or like to go with two-handers. I really like the ability to block without a shield just for a small bonus to damage-mitigation as well as able to spam Backhand whenever available.

12-22 Time to get into the Paladin !!!
The next was to get into Paladin mode for more survivability (increasing block chances and health ) but also putting points into dps skills. My DPS tank version anyhow.

With both a single taunt and a multiple enemy taunt as well as the Sweeping Strikes ability its a safe bet to start que'ing up for dungeons as Tank-Mode.

At 50 I went to Storm Legion content (Paladyne if I remember correctly) for all gear major upgrades.
So by now you will have a crazy amount of Defensive abilities as well as a quite amount of highly nasty attack abilities:

So I am stopping here because by now I had tinkered with a Beastmaster spec (for supportive roles) as well as a mostly Warlord build for DPS role (still working on that one). And you should do the same. By now you will have amassed alot of plat so switching roles and resetting on the fly wont break the bank.
I used macros for easy mode. Love them macros.

- DPS Skill - KING OF THE HILL !!!!! Yet another attack to add to the DPS ability arsenal.
- No Permission to Die - Another in case ability to stop you from croaking
- Defense # Defensive Surge - Thick of Battle
- Still able to tank like a champ. Most of the time #1 DPS as well.

I havent played in a while but i am back in the game with a new character and i brought someone with me.
When i still played, i had to buy an expansion to enter the celestial lands.
Is that still the case? Does the person i brought with me, need to buy something to be able to enter all content?

Mystic Archer bows defaulting to melee on non melee skills :/
Why? It's very annoying. NONE of my mystic archer skills are coming from my bow!

Volcanist stats?
Hey guys,
I'm new to rift and recently bought the primalist pack. Today i made my primalist and started as dervish and immediatly changed to volcanist. It's a caster, but all the gear i'm getting is leather with dex stat. I'm kind of confused on what stats i should be going for. Should i go for cloth with int like any other caster or leather with dext? Would appriciate some advice.

Kind of noob help?
Hey hey,
So i have returned to the game and made a rogue and i brought someone with me to play who also made the same rogue. We like to play together and have the same things lol
But i see that it is very hard to find the best dps build for a rogue because people are scared that it will get nerfed again?
We both like ranged and be both like to hit hard haha we do not like to be a healer or a tank.
Atm we have Bladedancer/Marksman/Saboteur
Any help for a good ranged dps build is welcome. Can be in private messages too lol.

Somewhat obvious observations here, but I think the data is cool anyway
* I interpret this as additional incentives - aka captured intel and faelight sparkles - spurs participation.
* Also, additional goals also spur participation, as 4.3 saw a new raid release whose upgrades require intel.
* Seasonal events probably also help
Caveats:
* This is all as observed by me and could be full of errors
* Normally my times are only up to 1 minute high
* NA data is missing entirely from Dec 22 to Jan 10.
* EU data on 12/28 and 12/29 is high due to my error
* Times are aggregated by day and no correction for peak/off-peak hours was attempted here.

General Stability and a few other questions
Lag spikes are still there, any ETA on when it's gonna be fixed ? it's quite annoying to have a freeze 2 seconds before using a cooldown and it goes away 3s after the time you should have used it... leaving a pile of flesh & bones in a grey screen... we had to cancel the raid tonight due to these, and since most people only log for the raids, they will soon no longer log on... please hurry to fix this !
SNOW.... while it's pretty, it's so damn annoying, most people in my guild (if not all) experience huge fps drop when snow appears in a zone (from 60fps down to 10-5 fps) i already reported this problem over 1 year ago... still no command to deactivate the weather effects...
BoS Isiel : we often have the MK1 active when commander Isiel spawns, most of the time, it seal the current tank fate within a second...

Requirements Quajiri daily quests in Ashora.
I have just returned after a couple years of absence, I can see I don't remember half of the old stuff and I have no idea about all of the new stuff that has been put in game after I had left :)
Anyway, the real question is, I have two lvl 65 chars. One is able to get the daily quests from a number of quest givers in Nurjak Vostra, Ashora, while the other one can not (no questgiver marks over the NPCs heads.) The same NPCs. Both of my chars are the same level. What's the deal? Do I need to have a specific amount of notoriety (if so, then how much exactly), or is there some prerequisite quest?

Release Rift on consoles
This is the only way Rift will become popular once more. Now before people said that Tab Targetting mmos cannot be ported to consoles. Well then look at FFXIV... that game is huge on both PS4 and PC.
I love Rift and I want this game to succeed but right now the population is so low and waiting for dungeons take about 6-7 hours even on peak time and on off peak time finding a group is impossible... its really depressing. The population is extremely low right now and releasing it on consoles is the only way to save this great mmorpg.
